tired, bored.

Fall is my element: See by Chloé dress


I've developed an affinity for The Venture Brothers, which would be an otherwise despicable TV show if not for Brock Samson, amirite? Mark and I have watched both seasons that are currently out on DVD, and I'm kind of in the mood for more (even though I have plenty to watch as it is).

I met all of Mark's DND friends last night, and let's just say 2 hours of conversation COMPLETELY OVER MY HEAD... They were all extremely nice, though. And I must say, never will you see a group of people who each look SO completely unique, as in an anime and/or dnd clan.

Venture Brothesssssss ♥ That show is amazing. I love it for more than Brock (though he is of course a HUGE part of it ♥), but it could be because I watched so many Hanna Barbera cartoons as a child.

And I must say, never will you see a group of people who each look SO completely unique, as in an anime and/or dnd clan.

I completely agree~ It's so refreshing!

okay okay, I do like it for more than just Brock, but he's definitely my favorite. I also like Dr. Girlfriend (is that her name?), the crazy guy who lives next door to Dr. Venture, and a few others. I guess I mostly just don't like the Monarch! ^^;;;;

I grew up on Hanna-Barbera too!

Mark tells me it's supposed to be a take-off of Jonny Quest, but I say there's just not enough gay! XD

Yep, that's her name! I think the Monarch has a really annoying voice, but I love how inept he is at being a villain. XD

Awesome! I basically just watched what Cartoon Network used to play all the time. Did you?

Haha, it really is, BUT I TOTALLY AGREE. Brock and Dr. Venture are really lacking awkward sexual tension, and that's just too bad. ):

Yep, Laure and I were raised on it! No sesame street or Arthur, just Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Jetsons, etc.

Omg, I went back and watched an episode of J. Quest about two years ago, and it was the most homosexual and unintentionally racist (I use this lightly; it was more like stereotyping) show I'd ever seen (the episode I saw took place in China).So seriously, how did they miss it in this remake? Maybe Hank has latently gay tendencies, idk.

That's so funny that you mention Venture Brothers as I just got home after spending most the night re-watching Season 1. Brock is the manliest man to ever be drawn up. I love that show.

yeah, he really is - and his voice actor is amazing! I love how he punches each word. I also kind of wonder what his looks would translate to in real life - overly tan 80s glam rock star with... mel gibsonish facial features? I dunno.

I didn't like the show at first, but it grew on my quickly and now it's been a week since I watched an episode and i'm craving more!!

i really love that hair tutorial on your website! i think i might try it...i'm really similar i have super long thick hair and i only wear my hair down or in a pony tail my hair reaches my lower back and so i think it is time to take advantage of that..i hope you post more tutorials. i absolutely love that dress, too!

also, i remember some time ago you said you've been playing with photoshop and colors in your photos? if you still are, i think you'll have a lot of fun with some of the actions offered here:

i use some and i really love how my photos look after wards, it also teaches you how to use photoshop a little bit more, as far as experimenting with color layers etc. anyways, hope you're having a goodnight! <3

thank you! You should definitely try it - your hair sounds the perfect lenth for it. I want to post more hair tutorials, but I'm never sure what to try next!

thanks for the link - i'll definitely check out the tutorials! unfortunately i have the suckiest internet right now, so i can't look tonight, but i'm always interested in new ps tricks! :) i've been using photoshop for like... six years, and i *STILL am learning new things from other people all the time.

Venture Brothers! It's my favorite show on Adult Swim. I love me some Hank and Dean.

Any show that features an animated David Bowie earns a special place in my heart.
