Wanderlust & Photos
Mark & I liked this photo a lot - it looks like a cheesy 80s glamour shot of Momo, which, combined with her ugliness, is like an old greasy man trying to cover up his stench with perfume. And Momo even looks like an old man! It's not edited at all except for color correction & resizing - she was moving around a lot and this is what I happened to get.
I'm having terrible wanderlust at the moment. Ever since a dream the other night in which I met up withhanaagogo to see some concert (I can't remember the band), I've been dying to drive up to Chicago. Before that, it was LA (thanks to Vanishing Point). I would like to do Chicago in the winter, but obviously that's a terrible idea, so perhaps in the spring. And LA in the summer DEFINITELY around Expo, with a Grand Canyon detour.

I finished my painting "on beauty". Well, it's not completely finished but this is what I turned in last Thursday. Critique was successful. Wish I'd put more time into the figure but ah well.
My favorite corner of the picture - the nightstand with books. I should've chosen the color of the top book more carefully; I'm not altogether happy with it.
